On Saturday, November 16, over 105 Optimist members gathered for an inspiring and productive Fall District Gathering at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Auburn Hills. The event was a fantastic opportunity for members to connect, share ideas, and strengthen the bonds that make our community of Optimists so special.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in engaging table discussions, thought-provoking panel sessions, and dynamic brainstorming sessions that sparked creativity and collaboration. The energy in the room was palpable as members shared insights, collaborated on new initiatives, and discussed ways to continue making a positive impact in their communities. We also had our International President and Past Michigan Governor Jan Oord-Graves. She gave a wonderful speech on the impact we can make as Optimists in our communities.
