I am happy to be serving this year as the Michigan District Chairperson for Achievements and Awards. I have been working with Governor Pam to restructure the A&A report in order to streamline portions and also to gather more meaningful information that the district can use to help our clubs be even more successful. Stay tuned for more info about the rewards available to clubs who complete and submit the report in a timely manner.

Submission:

Reports should be submitted to me at AandA@MichiganOptimists.org by the dates below. Please make sure that you put your club name and “A&A Report” in the subject line. You may also submit via U.S. Mail. Contact me for my mailing address. The dates that the reports are due are firm. Unfortunately, late submissions cannot be accepted. In all cases you have at least three weeks to submit the report.

The Report:

You will notice that a third page has been added to the A&A report. This can be considered the “essay” portion of the report. There are five questions and the answers you provide will be prepared in a narrative for the executive board in particular, and provided at conferences/convention with the usual numeric report. Each question is worth 2,000 points this quarter so it is definitely to our advantage to answer all of them. And obviously, the more complete your answer is the more information the district will have on what is going on with the clubs and how the clubs can be better served.
