The Mecosta County Optimist Club, located in Canadian Lakes, is an officially chartered member of Optimist International. The club’s mission is to provide hope and a positive vision, bringing out the best in youth and communities. This past week, the Mecosta Optimist Club took to action and donated money to the Morley Stanwood High School band program (photo above).
“It means the world. It’s so good that people in the community are thinking about us and helping us to be able to succeed,” band director Jo Ann Gross said.
