Hello Michigan District!
The district convention in Lansing was a great time of learning, celebration, fun and fellowship. Thank you to all who worked so hard to make it a huge success. Special thanks go to Optimist International President Bob McFadyen and First lady Penny McFadyen for joining us for the weekend of festivities. Your presence, sup- port, guidance, and love are inspiring.
Thank you to Erik and his son Landon for making the time in their weekend to speak to us. Their work cleaning up overgrown yards for people who can’t do it themselves is a great act of service. While the Optimist year is not quite done yet, I am forever grateful for all the support that I received from Optimists across our Michigan Mitten. You have truly made this a special year and one that I will not forget.
