The Michigan District of Optimist International is proud to announce that the newly established Romeo Optimist Club will be participating in the upcoming Romeo Peach Festival Parade. This exciting event, scheduled for Monday, September 2nd, is a prime opportunity for Optimists from across the district to come together and celebrate community spirit.
The Romeo Optimist Club has been hard at work constructing a float for the parade, which is expected to draw a crowd of approximately 40,000 people. This large-scale event offers a fantastic platform to spread the word about Optimist International and the positive impact our clubs have at the grassroots level.
Invitation to All Michigan District Optimist Clubs
David Putt, a member of the Romeo Optimist Club, has extended an invitation to all clubs within the Michigan District to participate in this event. If your club is planning to attend, please bring your club banner so it can be proudly displayed on the Romeo Optimist Club float.

- Parade Time: 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM
- Staging Time: Noon
- Staging Location: Fiddler Cove Plaza, located north of the village on Van Dyke (a detailed map will be provided in the attached PDF flyer)
