🌟 International Honors: Michigan Clubs Awarded Foundation Club Grants
We’re proud to announce that two Michigan District clubs have received the esteemed Optimist International Foundation Club Grants, an international recognition awarded to just 27 clubs across the organization.
👏 Optimist Club of Metro Riverfront, Detroit
Their program, “Superhero Reading Buddies,” brings literacy to life by pairing young readers with adult volunteers dressed as superheroes, making reading fun while building confidence and skills in elementary-aged students.
👏 Michigan International Entrepreneurs Optimist Club of Detroit
Their initiative, “I Am My Own Authority,” empowers youth through entrepreneurship, leadership training, and civic engagement. It’s a powerful example of how Optimism can foster self-determination and community leadership.
Congratulations to both clubs for turning vision into action and earning well-deserved national recognition!
