As of October 1, 2025, Optimist International has officially retired the Club Pride Report. In its place, two new online reporting tools have been introduced to better capture the true impact of our clubs’ work in the communities we serve.
These changes are designed to simplify reporting, improve accuracy, and clearly demonstrate the reach and value of Optimist projects at both the club and international levels.
What Replaced the Club Pride Report?
The Club Pride Report has been replaced by two new online reports:
- Club Project Impact Report
- End-of-Year Club Impact Report
Both reports are completed online only and are available exclusively to:
- Club Presidents
- Club Secretaries
- Club Treasurers
This ensures consistency and accountability in reporting across all Optimist clubs.
Why This Change Matters
Optimist International relies on accurate, timely data to:
- Measure the number of youth and communities served
- Track volunteer involvement and service hours
- Demonstrate impact to donors, sponsors, and partners
- Strengthen the Optimist mission worldwide
By logging each project as it happens, clubs avoid the year-end scramble and ensure no project is forgotten.
A New Best Practice: Report Projects as You Complete Them
Clubs are strongly encouraged to make it a habit to complete a Club Project Impact Report every time a project is finished.
Doing so will:
- Save time at year-end
- Improve accuracy
- Automatically simplify completion of the End-of-Year Club Impact Report
Think of the Club Project Impact Report as your building block—and the End-of-Year Report as the summary.
How to Complete the Club Project Impact Report
Optimist International has provided a step-by-step instructional guide that walks club leaders through the entire online reporting process, from logging in to submitting the final report.
The instructions cover:
- Logging into the Optimist International website
- Locating your club’s reporting section
- Starting a new project report
- Selecting the correct project type (Signature Program vs. Community Project)
- Entering youth served, volunteers, volunteer hours, and project costs
- Indicating collaboration with other organizations
- Reviewing and submitting your report
All Club Project Impact Reports must be completed online through the Optimist International website.

Final Reminder
The retirement of the Club Pride Report marks an important step forward in how Optimist clubs track and share their impact. By embracing the new reporting system and logging projects consistently, clubs help tell the Optimist story—one project at a time.
If you are a club officer, now is the perfect time to review the instructions and ensure your club is ready to report every project moving forward.
