🌟 Summer Summit – August 22–23
The Michigan District Summer Summit is happening this week on Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23. This two-day gathering will bring Optimists together for:
- Brainstorming sessions
- Inspiring presentations
- Hands-on learning about membership growth, service projects, and leadership development
You’ll walk away with practical tools and fresh ideas to bring back to your club. And of course, no Summit would be complete without plenty of Optimist fellowship and fun!

As fall approaches, our youth programs are gearing up for another exciting season. From the Oratorical Contest to the Essay Contest and Junior Optimist Clubs, opportunities are opening for young people across Michigan to shine.
Now is the perfect time to start spreading the word in your schools and communities. Let’s make sure every student has the chance to participate and be inspired. By investing in youth, we’re shaping the next generation of leaders.
