What Are Jr. Optimist Clubs?
Jr. Optimist Clubs (or JOI: stands for Junior Optimist International) are school-based organizations that empower young people to make a difference. Backed by Optimist International, these clubs instill valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, and responsibility—all while giving back to the community.

Starting a Jr. Optimist Club involves a few simple steps:
- Gain the support of School Administration
- Recruit a Teacher to host monthly meetings
- Elect officers and follow a structured meeting agenda
