The Michigan District Childhood Health & Wellness Committee is inviting Optimists, families, and community members across the state to come together for a meaningful cause—supporting the health and well-being of children.
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, we’ll gather at Veterans Memorial Park for a fun and impactful 5K Walk-A-Thon. Whether you walk, donate, or both, your participation helps fund programs that directly benefit youth health initiatives across Michigan.

How to Participate
1. Register a Team
Start by creating your team. A team captain simply needs to provide:
- Team Name
- First & Last Name
- Email Address
- Cell Phone Number

Once a team is created, participants can:

Fundraising Incentives
- Donate $100 or more → Receive an official Walk-A-Thon t-shirt (distributed at the event)
- Teams raising $250+ → Earn a special commemorative patch
