Dear Michigan Optimists,
This past quarter has been a strong reminder of what makes the Michigan District so special—our people, our passion, and our commitment to serving others.
I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many of our clubs, attend outstanding events, and see firsthand the incredible work being done in communities across the district. From well-attended regional meetings that strengthen collaboration, to fundraisers generating thousands of dollars for youth programs, the level of engagement has been truly inspiring.
There have also been moments of celebration—recognizing members for decades of service and honoring the legacy of clubs that have made a lasting impact over the years.
At the same time, I’ve seen exciting progress in membership growth. One recent event resulted in nine new members joining in a single night, showing that our efforts to strengthen and grow our clubs are making a difference.
