Friday, September 18, 2020 will be our full Board Meeting. Remember that all Club Presidents are on the Board and have a vital role in the governance of our District! This meeting will begin at 6:30 PM and will not last longer than 2 hours. The agenda will be solely focused on necessary financial reports and business of the District, including our election of a Governor-elect for 2021-22 Several Policy Proposals will be considered with pro and con debate allowed in 2 minute segments. Those Policy Proposals are now posted on our website and can be found here https://michiganoptimists.org/proposed-policy-changes-2020/ Additional materials for this meeting will be provided no later than September 4, 2020.

Saturday, September 19, 2020 will be our District Convention, from 9 AM-Noon allowing you to grab a lunch and return at 12:30 until 2:30 PM

Saturday, September 19, 2020 will be our Live Installation Ceremony and Celebration, beginning at 7 PM. Loads of fun and some prizes will be offered. Governor-elect Debbie Berry will become our Governor-designate for 2020-21.

Sunday, September 20, 2020 will be our annual Memorial Service. Times and details will be provided soon. Please remember to let Past Governor Ted Dotts know those members from your club that we will be memorializing. PastGovernor@MichiganOptimists.org
